Our partners

Lead partner

Volunteering England, which is the national volunteering development agency, is leading this workstream.

Our partners are:

  • v, the workstream partner for faith volunteering. v is the national youth volunteering charity which was set up to implement the recommendations of the Russell Commission on youth action and engagement. It exists to inspire a new generation of young volunteers (aged 16-25) in England and to enable a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering.

NNVIA is a network of 37 national agencies which between them mobilise more than 800,000 volunteers, working in the fields of health and social care as well as with young and older people, environment and heritage. These agencies came together in response to the ChangeUp agenda to represent the views and needs of frontline community organisations.

  • The Red Foundation, workstream partner for new models of volunteer involvement and management. The Red Foundation is a social enterprise and is registered as a community interest company. It envisages a society where it’s easy for people to come together and do things that create a better place in which all of us can live and work. It works to achieve this through the provision of affordable consultancy and support services for third sector organisations and by pioneering development through partnerships.

Patrick is the National Support Services Implementation Manager at Volunteering England. His purpose is to work in partnership with v, CSV and Red Foundation to deliver a modernisation of volunteering in four key areas: employer-supported volunteering, overcoming the barriers to volunteering, exploring new forms of volunteer involvement and faith-based volunteering.

Previously, he worked in a number of training and development roles in the voluntary sector. His volunteer experience includes setting up and running a prison education project, mentoring ex-offenders and getting long term unemployed people back into work. He is currently studying for an MBA, with a particular specialist interest in implementing total quality management programmes in voluntary sector organisations.
