How improving support can help youEffective support is essential for successful growth in the third sector. Frontline organisations rely on support providers for guidance and help in improving their work and outcomes and in overcoming barriers and problems. Capacitybuilders’ new national workstreams are now in place to support the supporters. Each workstream will provide resources, evidence and good practice to help support providers improve what they can deliver to the frontline. The nine workstreams cover:
The workstreams will work closely with support providers - including the local and regional Consortia funded through Capacitybuilders - to align national priorities with those at a local and regional level. SKiLD, the programme that helps equip third sector development workers with essential skills and knowledge, will play a role in joining-up the delivery of learning opportunities developed by the national support services. The SKiLD team is currently working on its planning for the next three years and a new programme of learning activities will be announced by early summer.
