Get Legal is a new free online reference and decision-making tool for individuals, charities, social enterprises and co-operative organisations.

For many individuals and groups wanting to establish a new organisation one of the biggest challenges is deciding on the legal form and governance structure of the organisation. Choices are often based on dominant legal forms or preconceptions rather than well informed consideration of a range of structures. Problems can also arise if organisations want to change their legal structures or governing documents. Get Legal provides a framework to evaluate the most appropriate legal forms, alongside a decision making tool to help individuals and organisations find the form that fits.
