Support Provider Trustee Recruitment Forum: Autumn 2010

 

Following the Trustee Recruitment Learning Forum held earlier this year, we will be holding a further national Trustee Recruitment Learning Forum on 14th September 2010 in London. 

Following the success of the Trustee Recruitment Learning Forum held in March 2010, this event brings people together from across the country to share ideas on how they are overcoming the Trustee Recruitment challenge. This free event, funded by the Leadership and Governance National Support Service, will include a mixture of presentations, practical information, and networking opportunities to enable participants to share information and experiences with peers about supporting trustee recruitment.

We will also focus on how your organisation and work can contribute to the first ever national Trustees' Week 2010

Who should attend?

You should attend if you are an infrastructure organisation* who supports groups to recruit trustees, or are embarking on running a trustee recruitment campaign this year.

This event is designed to allow participants to share ideas and information. By the end of the forum you will:

  • Have learned from, and shared your knowledge and experience, with other delegates.
  • Have an understanding of the aims of Trustees' Week 2010 and how you can get involved.
  • Have seen the materials and tools developed through the Leadership and Governance NSS, and know how to use this information to support trustee recruitment activities

*Funding restrictions mean this event is for local or specialist infrastructure organisations only.  Priority places will be given to local or specialist infrastructre organisations who currently support trustee recruitment work or plan to do so in the next 12 months. We regret we will not be able to include other organisations at this time.
