The Meta plan in the north east has just been updated to reflect changes in the priorities for funding of support services. The plan provides a summary of the business plans of four sub regional and the regional consortia. It also includes regional and national analysis from research and surveys. The priority support needs include: Funding (ensuring support providers are sustanable and deliver what frontline groups need), Evolving (supporting the sector to bounce back from the recession and navigate the changes in public spending cuts), Planning (supporting groups to plan and manage the internal and external risks and perform well) and Promotion (demonstrating the added value that support services bring to the sector).
