The income workstream needs your help to pinpoint what makes good partnerships and consortia

The Improving Support income workstream, led by ACEVO, is involved in a public service delivery project to establish the success factors that make good partnerships and consortia.

Research will look into whether there is an optimum size for consortia, how smaller organisations can get involved in partnerships, and examine the risks involved. Findings will be shared with CEOs, development workers and local and central government commissioners.

Later down the line, the workstream will help to pilot innovative support provider partnerships and consortia.

If you are a support provider supporting a partnership or consortia bidding for local authority services, the workstream would like to hear from you. Contact Liam Cranley at ACEVO on 0845 345 8481 or email cranley@acevo.org.uk.

What’s your experience of public service commissioning?

If you are a frontline organisation, support provider or a rural community council and you’ve been part of an innovative and successful local authority commissioning process, the Improving Support income workstream, led by ACEVO, would like to hear from you.

The workstream plans to uncover examples of best practice commissioning and share this as case studies with the wider support sector. They also aim to influence the working culture to facilitate relationships between public service commissioners and organisations involved in tendering.

If you have a story to tell or would like to know more, contact Liam Cranley at ACEVO on 0845 345 8481 or email cranley@acevo.org.uk.
