Project outcomes
Our workstream aims to produce the following project outcomes:
- an increase in the availability of board members with the skills and diversity required by third sector organisations
- support providers will be better equipped to enhance the leadership skills and governance knowledge in the third sector, particularly in smaller community organisations and social enterprises
- more support providers will have reviewed their own governance and leadership practices and will be models of best practice
- an increase in awareness of the need for governance systems and regulation proportionate to the size and needs of organisations
- the establishment of innovative, effective and sustainable practices for strengthening the leadership of third sector organisations through cross-sector learning, support & skills exchange.
