Activities
We are planning the following initial activities:
- a range of conferences across England covering marketing and communications topics, with tailored content for support providers
- training events across England to develop support providers’ skills in marketing and communications including in customer relationship management, marketing strategies, branding and PR
- setting up an enhanced interactive online marketing and communications platform with ‘modules’ for support providers to pod/vodcast, blog, ask experts, and download guides and articles
- to utilise ‘Media Matching’ services to match marketing and communications professionals with support providers
- to use ‘Community Newswire’ to coach support providers in writing their own media relations documents, including press releases
- to recruit and develop nine marketing champions
- to engage with service users and other key stakeholders to advise and develop insight in order to guide future activities
- to undertake a benchmarking survey of marketing and communications skills to identify skills gaps and gauge the quality of services being delivered. Survey findings will guide future workstream activities.
